This new laboratory was approved by the Ministry of higher education at the beginning of 2020, Therefore, it considered is the first of its kind in the field of law in the faculty, that aims to administer scientific activity in various branches of law.

؟ Why a laboratory in the field of law

Lack of a laboratory specialized in the field of law in the faculty of law and political cience, University of El-Oued, despite holding many scientific activities in which the already.existing public policies laboratory is resorted to 

The availability of many qualified professors, lecturers, and doctoral students in the field of law, who are in need for a space to fulfil their research and enable them to publish it in classified scientific journals.

Entering national and international partnerships requires affiliation with a research laboratory specialized in law in order to administer research work and cooperation agreements, especially with Tunisian universities.

The laboratory structures assist the faculty in keeping up with the Ministry’s directions, especially virtual and distance education projects.

Supporting doctoral projects submitted annually by the faculty and increasing its acceptance rate.

The constant increase in the number of students in various fields of law and what it requires to open new tracks at the master’s and doctoral levels

؟Why a Laboratory of International Legal Transformations and its Impact on Algerian Legislation

The urgent need to follow up on the extent of the Algerian legal system’s response to the international agreements ratified by Algeria.

Recent global developments in the field of international law and the emergence of new applications that sometimes contradict well-established principles of traditional international law.

The international agreements concluded by Algeria in various fields at bilateral and multilateral levels, and the international commitments that Algeria commits to resulting in a need to update the Algerian legal system.

The growing global and human nature of the rules of international law due to the transformation of the concept of sovereignty from the traditional absolute form towards the contemporary relative form.

The increased debate about the ability of Algerian diplomacy to force its conditions during international negotiations (especially bilateral) impose terms in favour of its interest.
